| Robert Muls was born on 6 June
1919 in Barcelona, Spain. Engaged into Belgian Armed Forces on
26 January 1942. Send to the Depot of the Aéronautique Militaire
on 16 April 1942. Enlisted into Belgian Section of the RAF, 10
June 1942 and send for training to the ACRC the same day.
Further training brought him to: 17 ITW (4 July 1942), 6 EFTS
(22 September 1942), 2 ACDC (6 November 1942), 13 School of
Technical Training (10 December 1942), 2 ACDC (2 January 1943),
PDC - Ottawa (18 January 1943), 31 EFTS (22 February 1943), 34
SFTS (19 April 1943), commisioned P/O to 31 PDC (6 August 1943),
7 PRC (1 September 1943) and RAF Station Sywell (16 December
1943). Promoted F/O (6 February 1944), Roberto was send to 5
PAFU (8 February 1944) and to 57 OTU (28 March 1944) for
conversion on Spitfire. Posted to 350 Sqn on 30 May 1944 where
he stayed for the rest of the War. Died on 28 July 2004 at
Barcelona.
