| Born in Anwerp
on 8 September 1922. Engaged into Belgian Forces of Great
Britain on 4 April 1942. Joined the Depot Aéronautique Militaire
Belge on 5 May 1942, 2 Receiving Center (25 June 1942) and
Regent's Park Depot (20 July 1942). Joined the Belgian Section
of the RAF on 8 August 1942. Started training with a posting to
17 ITS (8 August 1942), followed by 6 EFTS (30 October 1942)
with the rank of LAC. His training continued with 2 ACDC (25
December 1942), PDC - Ottawa (18 January 1943), 31 EFTS (22
February 1943), 34 SFTS (19 April 1943), 31 PDC (1st October
1943, pro-moted Sergeant), 7 PRC (29 October 1943), 5 PAFU (20
June 1944), 53 OTU (21 November 1944) and 83 GSU (27 February
1945). Posted into 350 Sqn, 15 March 1945. Joined Sabena after
the War | |
