Born on 4 August 1913 at Enghien, engaged into Aéronautique Militaire Belge in 1934. Evaded from Belgium on 13 May 1942. Arrested in Spain on 5 June 1942. Liberated on 19 April 1943. Arrived in the UK on 24 July 1943. Enlisted into Belgian Section RAF on 18 October 1943. Send for training to 22 SFTS (9 November 1943), Belgian Depot (7 January 1944), 9 OAFU 1 January 1944) and 57 OTU (28 March 1944). Promoted F/O on 18 April 1944 and posted to 350 Sqn on 30 May 1944 where he stayed till the end of the hostilities. He died on 21st November 1987.
